Founder member Martin Wright's patch of woodland in the Brecon Beacons National Park on the edge of Blorenge Mountain near Abergavenny. Good views of Pied Flycatcher are expected as well as Cuckoo Tree Pipit, Whinchat and who knows what else.

21 June (Saturday) - Woodmancote
An open country walk on mostly level ground courtesy of local farmer Henry Robinson. We will start in Woodmancote village for possible Spotted Flycatcher and village birds, then overlook a steep valley with scrub and trees for warblers etc. before skirting some large fields where Lapwing, Grey Partridge, Raven, Yellowhammer and Linnet have been seen in recent years. Hunting Peregrine have also been spotted in this area in the past.
Leader: Geoff Bailey
12 July (Saturday) - Sherborne
A chance to visit the water meadows and look over the Society's Willow Tit nestbox project. Since our last visit the National Trust have undertaken landscape work to encourage more flooding in winter and spring.
Leader: Andy Lewis
